Click here to test that you have the required media player installed, and you can accept streaming media. If you can't play the media link, or the media player appears but does not play the media, please read the information below.

You must have the following to participate in a streaming media event:

Multimedia Computer
Most computers can easily tune-in to an event. Your computer should have the following features:

  • CPU - Pentium 120 Mhz (or greater)
  • RAM - 32 MB
  • Plugins- Javascript/Java
  • Video - SVGA 800x600 screen resolution or higher, 65535 colors
  • Audio - SoundBlaster audio card (or equivalent)
  • Speakers or Headphones
Internet Explorer or Netscape Browser Version 3.0 and above
To determine which browser version you have, click the help button on your browser and locate the version number. Use the links below to download a newer version of either browser.

RealPlayer Media Player
If you don't have a media player installed, you'll need to download one. To install RealPlayer, click on the button below.

Windows Media Player
If you don't have a media player installed, you'll need to download one. To install Windows Media Player, click on the button below.

Get Windows Media Player

After you have downloaded and installed your player, you may have to restart your computer.

In order to receive slides you must have the "Run script commands when present" selected in your Windows Media Player under Tools>>Options>>Security.

Once you've restarted, click on the following link to test that you have the required media player installed, and you can accept streaming media:

If you still can't play the media link, or the media player appears but does not play the media, then most likely you are behind a firewall that doesn't allow for streaming media (this is especially likely if you are accessing the Internet from your workplace). In this case, contact your network administrator to allow streaming media through your firewall.
